Latest update 30/03/09:- We are currently in the process of organising satellite meetings on the subject of "The Service Directory" which will be a website of information and services for parents to access, and it is our concern that families of children with special and additional needs are able to contribute to ensure this resource is really useful for us.

We held our second AGM at Dereham Town Football Club on 24th March 2009.  Anyone who would like to receive minutes of the meeting please e-mail admin@familyvoice.org.uk or phone 07950 302937

3rd July 2008 Update:- This website update was a long time coming, but things have been moving on a pace.  We are now on the point of sending out our second "Update" newsletter, which details more of what we have been doing.  If you want a copy then contact Michelle our secretary.  The website is something we have been lacking expertise and  time to develop, but we have some contacts and we are hoping to pursue these.

The Annual General Meeting was held at Dereham Football Club on Tuesday March 18th 2008 at 6.30 for 7pm.   Our guest speakers were Michael Bateman and Kim Mwanza who gave an update on the SEN Strategy

This was our first AGM and it was good to have about 30 people attending, we are planning the next Family Voice meeting for October.

March 2008 update:-  We have had a busy time over the past few months, however as we have all been volunteers and busy parents ourselves it has begun to show it certain areas such as the updating of this website.  We now have a small amount of paid admin support and this will enable us to get on top of things.  If you have tried to join us and have not had any response, please contact us again and we will make sure you're on our list.  We need as large a membership as possible to be effective.  We are in the process of preparing an application for funding to develop this website to be an effective resource and communication aid for our members.  All thoughts and ideas of what you would like to see are welcome.

October 2007 update:- The Consultation on the location of complex needs schools and specialist resource bases has just begun.  We have five of our members involved in the various strategy groups.
